This film was presented in the Work In Progress section at the Annecy’s festival 2024 and was in the official competition at the same festival in 2025 where it wons the Paul Grimault Prize. It was also chosen as the closing film for the Semaine de la Critique at Cannes Festival in 2025 and received the FIPRESCI prize.
The film recounts the misadventures of four dandelion seeds (named achenes) escaping in extremis from the destruction of their field by a nuclear explosion. After floating in space and crossing the path of a starfish, they land on a new planet and look for a place to take root. These four atypical migrants embark on an odyssey that will take them from a frozen world to a plant world populated by dangerous insects and an ocean where potato islands drift. Then, they will cross a post-apocalyptic desert illuminated by three moons. But it is finally thanks to the friendship of a small orphan slug that the achenes will finally find a new home
