Tobie Alone is a 13×52’ TV show produced by Tant Mieux Prod, in partnership with Umedia, and has been broadcasted by France TV Animation since 2024. Waooh! had the chance to create the backgrounds (line and color) of this magnificent show, which adapted Timothée de Fombelle’s novels.

Tobie Lolness is eleven years old, stands one and a half millimeters tall, and lives happily in the Tree with his parents. But today, he must flee — alone. Tobie’s father, a brilliant and wise scientist, refused to reveal the secret of a revolutionary invention that could transform the tree’s sap into kinetic energy. He knew that some would use it to the Tree’s detriment… But a man named Jo Mitch is willing to do anything to seize this discovery. He turns the Tree’s population against the Lolness family, has Tobie’s parents imprisoned, and launches a massive manhunt for Tobie, to whom his father entrusted the secret of his invention. Pursued by his own people, Tobie flees to the Lower Branches, a wild region of the Tree. Many adventures will follow, far beyond this land.
