The director Véra Belmont wrote here the adaptation of the comic book Second Generation, which I did not tell my Father de Michel Kichka (Dargaud editions). The Waooh! studios had the pleasure of taking care of the animation of this film co-produced by Je Suis Bien Content, Left Field and France TV.

In the 1960s, in Belgium, Michel and his brother Charly had a happy childhood in their Jewish family. Their father, quiet and discreet, tells nothing of his past. The two brothers imagine him as a great adventurer, pirate or treasure hunter… But what is he hiding?

This film premiered at the Annecy Animation Film Festival 2022 and was also presented at the Angoulême Francophone Film Festival the same year. It also received the Prix des Lycéens and the Prix des Collégiens at the Cannes Junior Film Festival during this period.
