Still in development, Emililie, Sorcière en Herbe is a French-Belgian-Canadian co-production bringing together All in One Production, White Boat Pictures, and Syon Media. The story is based on a script by Bertille Rétif and directed by Aurélie Garnier.

The 2-minute pilot was entirely crafted in our studio, from storyboard, design, backgrounds (line and color), rigs, FX, animation, to compositing and rendering. Waooh! was able to fully dedicate its expertise to this promising project.

Emililie, an 8-year-old girl who just moved into the neighborhood, isn’t the type to be scared off by rumors. And yet, all the local kids agree: a strange witch lives in the house at the top of the hill. Emililie wants to find out for herself and enters the house.

There, she meets Eglantine, an eccentric yet endearing old witch. After much negotiating, Emililie convinces her to take her on as an apprentice. In this mysterious house, Emililie will learn how to use magic, meet ghosts, talking cats, and dancing plants. She’ll also befriend the neighborhood kids and, above all, try not to cause too much trouble.
